Specially developed stone wool box for safe and optimal establishment of trees with root balls up to 37 cm or bare root. The box is delivered unassembled and is secured with a hessian band. The growth box creates ideal growth conditions for the tree.

Advantages of the stone wool box:

✅ Can absorb up to 100 liters of water and ensures a stable water supply
✅ Effectively retains water and reduces the need for frequent watering
✅ Requires a maximum of 7-9 waterings over two years depending on the weather
✅ Binding can be removed after a maximum of two years

Installation instructions:

1. Dig a hole approximately 80x80x40 cm.  
2. Assemble the sides and tie the hessian band around the box to hold it together
3. Then lower the box by gripping the sides and sinking it down into the hole.
4. Backfill with sand or soil on the outer side of the box.
5. Fill up with growth soil to the bottom of the root ball, so that the top of the root ball is level with the terrain height. When using bare root trees, fill the entire box with growth soil 
6. Place the tree in the center of the box and fill up with growth soil.
7. Ensure that the growth soil and soil/sand are well compacted.
8. Set binding on the tree at an appropriate height. Use 1-2 stakes and place them in the soil on the inside of the stone wool.
9. For very clayey soil, a macadam structure should be made under the box.
10. Finish by adding 75-100 liters of water.
11. Water 7-9 times during the first 2 years. It is important that surface watering is used with approximately 70 liters per time.

Tip: Use a quality growth soil to ensure strong root growth and healthy establishment of the tree.
